American Winds is deeply saddened to hear of a plane crash which has just occurred near the Akron Fulton Airport this afternoon. We pray for the pilot, anyone on board and their families. The aircraft was N7188W a single engine Piper PA-28-180 owned by Echo Aviation. According to Flight Aware, the plane departed KAKR at 2:45 pm.

We would like to let the American Winds staff, students and families know all of our airplanes are safe. We ask you say some prayers for all involved.
