Last evening we had the incredible honor of receiving our Maine Home Based Business of the Year Award from the Maine SBDC. We accepted this award with sincere and profound gratitude for our hard working providers who consistently perform above and beyond any standard of care, helping to make us Greater Portland's premier non-emergent ambulance service.

This month Casco Bay Ambulance is proud to celebrate 3 years of professionalism, reliability and clinical excellence!

Time has certainly flown by, and, reflecting on the last 3 years, we couldn't be more honored and humbled by the trust so many patients and their families have placed in us, and we are always in awe of the care and consideration we see in our providers on a daily basis.

We celebrate this anniversary with pride for our accomplishments and excitement for the future, thrilled to continue to serve the beautiful state of Maine and beyond!

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the friends and family of Andrew Cross, the Morrill Fire Department, and all those affected by the tragedy yesterday in Searsmont. Solemnly we recognize their bravery and sacrifice, which shall not be forgotten.

Our thoughts are with this small community and beyond as they navigate and mourn this sad loss and cope with the aftermath.

It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always been worth it. We are elated to receive this recognition of our efforts.

In 2022, we developed a solid business proposal. We approached no less than 8 different Maine banks. They didn’t see our vision. One loan officer actually scoffed and said this would never work (despite our proposal showing soaring projections for the first 3 years). In desperation we reached out to a friend at the bus stop who works for Bangor Savings. He set us up with a colleague who immediately saw us and what we were trying to bring to the State of Maine. She believed in us (and still does!) and has always been a driving force behind Casco Bay Ambulance Service.

Thank you Renee' Fahie. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you and the drive you possess to help others succeed. You are one in a million.
