On January 12 PAF Transportation was presented with a third-place Safety award in 4,000,001-mile – 9,000,000-mile category at the annual Maine Motor Transport Association annual Safety Banquet. The awards are presented to carriers who achieve above average results in Highway Safety.

The results were determined by the number of DOT reportable collisions per million miles, vehicle fleet maintenance, hiring practices, accident investigation process, driver orientation process, supervision practices and training.

We would like to thank all the employees at PAF Transportation for their contribution to achieving this milestone.

This past Sunday 09/18, PAF participated the Convoy4Kids event. Jack, who has participated in the past was a great representative of the company and showed exactly what we strive to be. His work was so well respected that the Maine State Police used a PAF Truck to demonstrate a Level 1 Inspection.

So we here at PAF thank Jack for his great work with the Convoy4Kids event and great representation of the PAF Values. This was the thirteenth year in a row that Jack took top fundraiser. For the 2022 year it was 16,800$, bringing his thirteen year total of 95,000$ for Convoy4Kids.

He would like to have it noticed that the event went from 55 trucks a year to 83 in 2022 and that he was grateful to all volunteers/local businesses who helped out as this is not a one person show.

Full Time afternoon/Evening Warehouse - Weekends off

PAF Transportation is looking for a Full Time Warehouse worker for the Scarborough Terminal to work the evening shift Monday to Friday on the loading dock. The preferred candidate will have prior forklift experience. The ability to multitask and be eager to learn and work in a quick paced environment with deadlines.

PAF Transportation is a trucking company that delivers freight up to trailer load. We are currently looking for Full and/or Part Time Warehouse workers for the Scarborough Maine Terminal. We are willing to discuss part time shifts for evenings and early mornings that may work with an applicant’s current schedule.

An ideal candidate would be experienced with prior forklift use, the ability to multitask, eager to learn and be able to function in a quick paced environment with specific deadlines. The primary responsibility will be loading and unloading freight from trucks and trailers using forklifts, electric pallet jacks, hand jacks as well as dollies.
