I went for a pickup yesterday, and let me just say… **the aunties were successful!** 😂

Yes, *aunties*, because their friends’ children are already getting married and choosing destination weddings. Do you think struggler will even have that kind of appetite? 😭😂

But let me leave that side and continue my gist…

By the way, if I sense that I’m older than you, in your own interest, **don’t try to disrespect me o!** There is a way that thing used to affect me. 😂

And if I sense that you have money too, I will immediately call you **Aunty** so that the pepper can rest faster. 😭😂

And before you people start arguing, hope you know that in many marriages that scatter, **respect was part of the issue.** 👀

So yesterday, I brought out my phone to record the household items I came to pick up when both aunties suddenly asked:

**“Please, what foundation are you wearing?”**

Foundation? As how? 😭

I told them, **“None o!”**

The last foundation I remember wearing was in Hawaii when we were making **JK Memories at 50**. Even that one was the celebrant’s own! 😂

My everyday makeup does not pass lipstick and eye pencil.

But these aunties continued… talking about my flawless skin, asking questions, giving advice, and honestly, I was enjoying myself. 😂❤️

The truth is, yesterday I did not rub anything special. **Not even roll-on!** 😭😭😭

And it took all the Osomalo nerve inside me to bring the conversation back to the **shipping of the household items that actually brought me there.** 😂

At some point, it almost crossed my mind to start influencing beauty products. Because the compliments these days ehn… they are becoming something else! 😭😂

While many of us are already hearing “Ember months” and thinking about everything that could go wrong…

This 9-year-old was thinking about her NEXT DREAM. 😂❤️

I met her inside our warehouse while loading a container. She told me she dreams of driving a forklift because that was what her dad was about to do.

And I told her, “If you can start driving at 6, in one more year you’ll be ready for that forklift!” 😂

But honestly, her confidence stayed with me.

Maybe that's how we should enter September.

Not with fear.
Not with anxiety.
Not expecting bad news.

But with faith that there are still good things ahead of us.
