Terms and Conditions
Horses and Equipment travel at the owners risk and all horses to be fully insured by the owner for transport. Veterinary, Stabling etc that are not included in your quote
d price the owner will be responsible to pay for such costs. We shall endeavour to inform the owner of the circumstances as soon as reasonably practicable
Should your horse need emergency veterinarian attention in any circumstance and we cannot get hold of the owner, we reserve the right to make the decision deemed necessary and advised by a vet. Should we need to sedate a horse ourselves and again cannot get hold of the owner we reserve the right to do so and any cost for sedation will be charged to the owner. Any damage made to the horsebox by the horse during travel or whilst loading which requires repair, the repair costs shall be charged to the owner. We are more than happy for the Horsebox to be inspected for any pre-existing damage.
30 minutes of loading time is included, any time thereafter will incur additional costs at £15 per every 15 minutes. After 1hr 30 mins we reserve the right to refuse transport, this will only happen if we have other horses on board, have other horses to collect or a train/ferry to catch. The owner will still be liable for 75% of the transport cost. Should there be any hold ups during transport we will not be held responsible ie ferries cancelled, traffic, breakdown etc. We will still endeavour to deliver your horse but it could be later than originally agreed. In the event of unforeseeable circumstances preventing us continuing the transport (such as extreme weather) we shall use our best judgment which may include having to find a safe place to stop and/or including stabling until it is safe to continue. In the event of circumstances in paragraph 6 occurring the owner is responsible for stabling and feed costs. We shall endeavour to inform the owner as soon as practical of any change of circumstances. All horses must be fit, healthy and sound to travel unless travelling to the vets. We reserve the right to refuse transport if we think the horse is not in this condition to travel. The owner will still be responsible for 100% of the transport costs. All horses being transported must have a passport on collection. If you have booked your horse on a shared load please be aware that delivery times may alter, we will always make you aware of this but can not be held responsible if things change. Thank you
