Not every day on the Garden Route brings sunshine and beach weather, but there’s always a story to tell!

Yesterday’s journeys took us from airport transfers to dinner drop-offs, with a reminder of just how connected people can be.

Imagine travelling all the way from Scotland to South Africa for a golfing holiday, only to discover that someone you meet at dinner lives on your very own street back home! And then, on another evening, meeting someone connected to your landlord. 😂 What are the chances?

A DAY ON THE GARDEN ROUTE — WHERE COMMUNICATION MAKES THE DIFFERENCE 🚘🌿

Every day on the road brings something different, and yesterday was a reminder that great service is about more than simply getting from A to B.

From an early-morning Parkrun in Harkerville and breakfast at a local vineyard, to a relaxing spa visit, a wedding transfer, a birthday dinner at Emily Moon, and several other journeys around Plettenberg Bay — it was a full day on the road for Maxim’s Cabs.

One important lesson stood out: communication is everything.

Sometimes plans change and time gets tight. What matters is communicating early, being honest with your client and finding a solution together. Never leave a client waiting and wondering where you are.

I’m grateful for clients who appreciate good communication, flexibility and a personal touch. And of course, a little friendly conversation makes every journey more enjoyable! 😊

Early morning start. 🌅✈️

The roads were quiet, the coffee was warm, and the conversation was even better.
