Compliant does not always mean moving.
SARS is modernising cross-border declarations for foreign-registered vehicles from 1 June 2026, with declarations required on the Traveller Management System before entering or leaving South Africa.
That should help improve processing.
But physical verification, Customs processing and inspections may still happen at the border.
For businesses moving goods across borders, that means one thing:
Compliance is important.
Control is critical.
A delay at the border can affect delivery times, customer expectations, stock availability and operational costs.
TSI Central Station helps businesses take better control of freight movement through visibility, supplier coordination, outsourced freight control, rate comparison and control tower oversight.
