We at Buffalo City Tuk Tuks would like to thank you for your continued support since our launch in 2013. It has been overwhelming, and it remains important to us. As always, we are committed to offering our customers the best possible service. For us this means making a few changes going forward, but not without keeping our valuable customers informed!
In light of ongoing petrol hikes we have had to make some adjustments to our prices. We are aware that this will affect all our customers however, it will also ensure the continual smooth running of the best possible service for you. (Please have a look at the new price table below).
Single person trips around their suburb 35 rand
Two or more people around their suburb 40 rand
Additionally, we have so far not been charging waiting times. Principally we do not wish to have such a charge, but occasionally we are kept waiting longer than what is reasonable. The impact of this is that we then get delayed for the next customer, who may rely on our timely arrival, which is not fair. As a result we will, with effect from 1st March, introduce a ‘waiting’ charge as follows:
First five minutes waiting: Free
Waiting charge six – ten minutes: 10 rand
Waiting charge after ten minutes 1 rand per minute
But fear not, your Tuk trips will not be affected by this immediately, as the changes will take effect as of 1 MARCH 2014. We hope to see you on board one of the yellow submarines soon.
