As construction ramps up on CR 43, you can learn more by attending our INFO session on Tues July 15th at 6:30 pm the NG Municipal Centre theatre.

There will also be a FB livestream.

Hear directly from Bill Guy, Counties project manager, and municipal staff on :
- plans to open the first two lanes of the new bridge this fall
- the next stage of roundabout construction at 43/44, and in front of the Shoppers plaza
- the establishment of multi-use pathways, lighting and trees
- how we are endeavouring to work with businesses during this time.

The CR 43 rehabilitation and expansion initiative is the largest roads project for both the United Counties and Municipality of North Grenville . It has been made possible with contributions from all four levels of government, including a joint federal provincial grant.

We appreciate your signifiant patience and understanding as we seek to make this road far safer and better for all users. With the bridge near the end of life, and this section of CR 43 no longer meeting modern road standards, this project was long overdue.

Tomlinson has been working extremely hard to stay on time and on budget! We are on track for a completion date of late fall 2026/early 2027.
