This is a picture of the USS Lindsey. My grandfather on my mothers side served on this boat in WW II. On April 12th during the Battle of Okinawa two kamikazi planes stuck the bow of the ship. The bow is where my grandfather was usually. This day he had switched to the stern, trading places with his friend. His friend was one of the 57 that died that day. I owe a huge thank you to my grandfathers friend. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for him. And thank you to all of the service men and women who have served, are serving, and will serve. Today the biggest thank you goes to those that gave their life for all of us through all the wars and conflicts. It doesn't seem like enough to just say thank you. But it's all I got.

Took the air horns off unit 101 this week. Only a train horn now. Lots of folks do this for looks. I just don't feel like paying what Peterbilt wants for new ones.
