Floyd Blinsky Trucking

Floyd Blinsky Trucking Founded in 1977, by Floyd and Pam Blinsky, Floyd Blinsky Trucking, is headquartered in Yakima, WA. in Billings, Montana.

Born and raised in Wimbledon, North Dakota to a truck driving and farming family, Floyd Blinsky, knew early in his life that he wanted his own company and set about making his dream a reality. In 1977, with a million and a half miles behind the wheel working for others, he and his wife, Pam began their life-long journey by founding Floyd Blinsky Trucking, Inc. Over the next ten years, Floyd Blinsk

y Trucking, Inc., grew to a fleet of five tractors and trailers. In 1987, with an eye on growth, Floyd and Pam decided to relocate their thriving business to Yakima, WA, in 1987. Having a clear understanding of the importance of driver satisfaction, they believed that capitalizing on the weekly produce loads leaving Washington State, drivers could have more quality home time. During that time, they transitioned from flatbeds to a predominately refrigerated fleet. Over time, the fleet has grown to over 73 tractors. Getting back to the roots of the company, in the fall of 2015, five new Peterbilt tractors and six new trailer sets were purchased to establish a flatbed division to provide diversity for the company. Within a year, an additional three trucks and trailers were added to the flatbed fleet. In 2014, Floyd and Pam announced that they would be semi-retiring. Pam stepped down from the role of Vice President and Matt Blinsky, Floyd and Pam’s youngest son, stepped up. Matt had worked in nearly every area of the company – from washing trucks and yard clean up as a teenager to driving and dispatching in his early 20’s to Operations Manager in his mid-20’s – until accepting the role of Vice President. Company employees still enjoy seeing Floyd around the office and in the yard to tease him about in his new role as “Maintenance Man”. Over the years, with focused and controlled growth, Floyd Blinsky Trucking, Inc., has maintained a safety and maintenance record praised by the insurance industry, and has developed a top notch organization known throughout the industry for excellent customer service, efficiency, and dependability.

Shoutout to Our Legendary Mechanics, Shop Foreman, and Warehouse Manager! Jake, Scott, Jason, Paul, and Tim (pictured), but we will be getting pics of Mario, Omar, and Ben in the near future!)

Let’s give a massive round of applause (and maybe a few extra donuts) to our incredible mechanics! 🛠️

You’re the real MVPs—turning wrenches like wizards, diagnosing weird clunks like truck and trailer whisperers, and somehow keeping everything rolling smoother than a fresh jar of Skippy.

Thanks to you, our trucks don’t just move—they glide. Our trailers don’t just haul—they strut. And our drivers? They stay on the road instead of stranded on the shoulder Googling “why is my engine making that noise?”

We appreciate your hard work, your grease-stained greatness, and your uncanny ability to find that one missing bolt.

You keep us moving—and laughing. Thank you!

A 16-foot-tall mural titled "Creepy Crawler" depicts a giant baby chasing a life-size rhino, bison, and velociraptor. The artwork, by John Cerney of Salinas, California, is east of Miles City, adjacent to I-94. It was sponsored by Custer County District High School Art Club, and installed by Cerney and local volunteers in July 2015. Creepy Crawler is on private property and is to be viewed from the interstate only.
