The 2026 Chauffeur Driven / National Limousine Association Convention in Las Vegas brought together professionals from across the transportation world, but one moment stood out in a more personal way to our team. This year marked the introduction of the first-ever “Impact Award,” created to recognize individuals whose influence is built over decades.
Seeing that kind of recognition made us reflect on what it really takes to build something long-lasting. Behind every strong company is a person who put in the time, made the right decisions, and stayed committed to doing things the right way.
That’s why we want to take a moment to recognize the founder of Gem Worldwide. What started 50 years ago (this August) has grown into a global company trusted by clients around the world. That kind of growth doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from a clear vision, strong values, and a consistent focus on reliability and service.
The relationships we’ve built, the standards we maintain, and the way we operate today all trace back to that foundation. It’s something our clients experience every day, even if they don’t always see what goes on behind the scenes.
The Impact Award is about honoring that kind of legacy. And while this year’s recognition was well deserved, it also reminds us to appreciate the people who quietly shape businesses, communities, and experiences over time.
