In October 2021, we celebrated 25 years of prompt, courteous, and efficient service to the citizens of Bertie County and northeastern NC. We provide non-emergency medical transports to and from doctors' appointments (medical, dental, vision, specialists), dialysis, and between facilities. We operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including holidays. Our staff of trained, certified emergency medical technicians is available to meet your basic and advanced life support transportation needs.

Full and part-time positions available.
Must hold current NC certification and valid driver’s license.
Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. Benefits include sign-on bonus,

UPDATE: Minor setback.... She has been told that a bed is not available. The move has been postponed until Monday.

She still has a lot of recuperating to do, but plans do include Wendy coming back to 3 Rivers sometime tomorrow. BAS, with authorization from Bertie EMS....who ...btw... were the crews who rescued her and her partner from the wreckage.... will lead a lighted es**rt from the Williamstom bridge to 3 Rivers. Anyone interested in helping to welcome her home is welcome to gather along the path from Williamston to Three Rivers. Crowds will be gathering at Three Rivers, Heritage House, BAS, and the town clock at the intersection of King and old 17. Posters, signs, and cards are welcomed! Once we know the discharge time, we will post it here. She has supported this community for 20 years and has been missed so very much for the past 6 weeks!

Many thanks for all the prayers for our two strong EMTs. Our Lord heard your prayers and has been working His miracles! The EMT is now recuperating at home, and the Paramedic has finally been moved OUT of ICU. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they travel the road to recovery!! .

New EMT Class To Be Offered at R-CCC

Are you or someone that you know looking a new career path? Have you ever thought about EMS? RCCC has just the thing for you and we would love to help you achieve those goals. Come join us!

Now is the time! Opportunity for employment is at an all-time high and agencies are actively looking for EMT’s.
We have an Initial Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course that will be May 18th through July 28th. This class will be Monday – Thursday from 09:00 – 16:00. This accelerated course will be held at the RCCC campus in room 113.

Pre-requisites:
High School Diploma, GED, or approved placement test/exam. This course is being offered in as a split enrollment course for both Curriculum and Continuing Education. If you’re curious which path works best for you, let us know.
