Please do your research before leasing in west Texas with BLACK RHINO ENERGY SERVICES INC:
I’m the owner of the business and of the truck my husband drives. It is my job to make sure the load tickets balance out with the settlements and that my business and truck remain profitable. My husband was a company driver with them for about a month in February before he took my truck out there in March until May. It was an absolute nightmare once I leased my truck with them. He refused to communicate anything with me (Told my husband he doesn’t deal with wives) and when he did he talked down to me. Guess he forgot I own the company and the truck and he signed the contract with me. He failed to pay 1 week after waiting 21 days to pay at all but was more than happy to loan the money he owed with a 30% interest rate. Loads were left off settlements and when I questioned him I was told “ You’re being too emotional, you wouldn’t understand HUN”, then he hung up on me. He charged me for 2 weeks of insurance ($1000) that I was no longer leased with them, kept the escrow ($800) plus multiple loads missing from the last 3 settlements. I made multiple requests for either an explanation or the funds or I would proceed with legal action and that’s exactly what I’m doing. Trust me, I have more than enough evidence to support my claims. Honestly I would have taken him to court over a penny after finding out how many others he has screwed over. I would love to help others to receive what is owed to them by Black Rhino.
He has the lowest load rates with the highest insurance rates in west Texas. He expects you to drive your truck into the ground and if you do he’ll give you a “great” deal for in-house repairs.
If you do make the decision to lease with Black Rhino / Cesar Carreon I strongly suggest you keep every load ticket to balance out with your settlements, keep an eye on the balance of your escrow, the payoff of your insurance deposit and weekly payments and keep screenshots and emails, DELETE NOTHING! Most importantly, be prepared to leave Black Rhino with nothing but debt and trauma.
