As a bus driver you will get to know the children and parents on your run. Sometimes they speak in code. "Living the Dream" means things are difficult but what can you do. The parents of special needs children work hard and all the time! They can be stressed and exhausted but they are also some of the most loving homes you will ever see. I usually respond: "That's great, I know things can be difficult" so they know we know the code and they can tell me what's going on. As a bus driver you really make a huge difference.
