It's been a long week, but we made it to Saturday... where we can play catch up!

Crabby's still crabby... I changed the brake pads and the old caliper seized. Yesterday, I got new calipers and bled my own brakes: one of the 4 calipers is still not fully releasing on the passenger side. More truck work this afternoon!

Just a reminder: I work in trades and barters and knowledge too!

It's Wednesday and I've spent most of the day changing the brakes on Crabby. Good news. It went slowly, carefully, and only had one icky moment that was an easy fix! Lots of new bruises too! 🛻🦖💚

BOOM! Shout out to my neighbor Anything Automotive Mobile mechanic for saving me from a trip to O'Reilly, as well as an apology for my literal scream of frustration at my small error 😅🙃

I hope this Sunday has as much healing, peace, and calm as possible for everyone - I am finding a lot of grief today, and plan to work through it safely and healthily.

Yesterday I drove to Cord, AR to meet some amazing people (check out Dandelion-cuts for more information) And I had a delightful hitchhiker! I hope the jumping spider brings a smile!

Lazy Lizard Community Cooperative has bartered knowledge with me!

Liz has won awards for her skills at driving heavy machinery, and for the low price of Crabby hauling compost for Urban Patchwork she is sharing her knowledge!

Driving a trailer (ok, backing up a trailer) is tricky tricky, and I am grateful for the people to teach me skills to be safe and successful when hauling - especially when women can support women.

For years, I've had the desire of offering hair washes, haircuts, and a meal for free to those in need.

That dream can now come true with the generous help of Natural State Rasslin’, we'll be collecting donations to start Dandelion-Cuts - a mobile haircutting station! We have a list of desired items or a financial goal of $650.

The goal is to be able to start offering haircuts in August, just in time for back to school!
