When the freight stands 11 feet tall, the trailer choice is not optional. This oversized piece of machinery recently door-to-door on the same trailer from Monterrey, Mexico to Kitchener, Ontario Canada using a double-drop Conestoga trailer, providing the deck height and protection needed to safely transport an oversized load that simply wouldn't fit on conventional equipment.

At NAS, we do not force specialized freight onto the wrong equipment. We match the trailer to the load, not the other way around.

Before the first note hits Pine K**b, the equipment has to arrive. We recently helped move equipment into the venue but we’ve been asked to keep the load under wraps. Our lips are sealed.

Loyalty matters, especially in trucking. This September, we’re proud to recognize three NAS drivers celebrating another year with the team. Year after year, these drivers continue to show up, represent NAS professionally, and help keep our customers’ freight moving safely and reliably.

In an industry where experience and commitment matter, their loyalty says a lot, and it does not go unnoticed.

Thank you, Ricky, Neil, and Bryon, for everything you do and for continuing to be an important part of the NAS team.

Cross Border Tuesday. Not every load is a machine with moving parts. Sometimes it's the equipment that keeps an entire operation moving. This portable truss conveyor recently traveled from Toledo, Ohio. to Hamilton, Ontario where it will help move bulk materials efficiently through an industrial facility.

Long, lightweight equipment like this demands the right trailer, proper securement, and experienced transportation professionals. Our Conestoga trailer provided the protection and flexibility needed to keep the shipment safe from pickup to delivery.

At NAS, we match the equipment to the freight—not the other way around.

Moving freight through Tennessee?

Tennessee sits at the crossroads of some of the country’s busiest freight corridors, with major north-south and east-west interstate routes connecting the Midwest, Southeast and Texas.

I-40 — East/West freight corridor
I-65 & I-75 — Major North/South routes
Nashville & Chattanooga congestion
Oversize and overweight planning

Whether your freight is headed Michigan to Texas, across the Southeast, or anywhere in between, knowing the right route and equipment matters.

This week's featured Cross Border Tuesday move took an InductoScan industrial system from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Guelph, Ontario Canada. Specialized machinery requires the right trailer, the right plan, and the right team. This shipment traveled on one of our step deck Conestoga trailers, providing the overhead clearance, weather protection, and securement needed to move valuable industrial equipment safely across the border.

At NAS, we match the equipment to the freight—not the other way around.

We recently moved this GE MRI system from Florence, South Carolina to Detroit, Michigan.

High-value medical imaging equipment requires careful securement, the right trailer, and experienced handling from pickup through delivery. NAS provides Conestoga, flatbed and specialized transportation for MRI systems, CT equipment and other sensitive medical machinery throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
