For this job you need a valid any class any state driver's license. You must have at least 2 years of driving experience as a licensed driver.

You must be available to work at least five full days per week.

You must be financially secure.

We provide Transportation primarily for people with special needs (disabled) who need transportation to and from school . Our company is certified by the Department of Motor vehicles in Virginia . We provide rides from 5 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday. Our company was established in 2020 and we are currently growing our business.

We are seeking to hire an energetic and experienced full-time Driver who would like to join our professional team of drivers and transport passengers to and from school . We are looking for someone who is interested in working long term.

Boykins & Brown Transportation is now hiring for drivers

Duties / Responsibilities:

● Transfer clients by stretcher, stair chair or wheelchair in a safe, timely, on schedule, lawful manner according to company procedures and protocols.

● Perform a pre/ post-trip vehicle inspection ensuring that the vehicle is functioning and all the equipment needed to perform the scheduled transfers is present and working properly. Ensures equipment (stretcher, stair chair, or wheelchair) and clients are properly secured before putting the equipment in-motion, on-boarding into or off-loading from the vehicle, or putting the vehicle in motion.

● Maintain a solid client relationship by handling questions or concerns by speaking directly to them with speed and professionalism as described in the employee handbook and duty manuals.

● Check the vehicle to ensure no personal belongings of the client are left after transfer.

● Accurately complete all required documentation prior to and at the end of each transfer.

● Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA, Federal Regulations, and company policy.

● Provide first-aid or CPR if necessary.

● Report any incidents, equipment issues, traffic problems, accidents or other hazards to a manager and dispatch. If medical assistance is needed request police or 911 assistance in an emergency. Assists injured clients with first-aid until these services arrive and complete company accident reports.

● Communicate timely by cell phone, radio, text, and email regarding schedules, shift availability, service directions, and company information. Monitor radio, email box, and trip assignments throughout shift.

● Keep vehicle and equipment clean, organized, stocked, and sanitized before each trip. Using proper PPE when sanitizing or cleaning spills.Fuel Vehicle as needed.

● Execute all terms and conditions as set forth in BAC Transportation’s employee handbook and be able to be flexible with job duties or other duties as assigned.
