This weekend we sponsored the Buck Expo in Surrency. I want to give A Big Sout out to Charlotte Neesmith for pulling together 2 booths in less than 24 notice! Great Job! Also, Thank you to Renea Parrish for helping out in a pinch. Thank you Kerrie Foskey Wilkes & Kevin Wilkes for the canopy! We all had a great time! Look forward us at the Christmas parade! FYI

Beginning Monday, September 22, several railroad crossings in Vidalia and Lyons will be temporarily closed for rehabilitation work by Georgia Central Railroad. These improvements will enhance safety and drivability at the crossings.

Please plan ahead and use alternate routes. We’ll share updates as the project continues.

As we are welcoming back our teachers and staff to another school year, we are excited to begin the journey of preparation for our students to join us on August 7th. This week, we hosted our New Student Registration on Wednesday, July 30th, and registered a record 129 new students in our system. We are excited and blessed to have these students join our winning team and culture. On Thursday, July 31st, we hosted our New Employee Orientation and welcomed our new staff to our family. Over the next few days, our school staff will be diligently preparing to pour into our students for another year as we will relentlessly pursue EXCELLENCE FOR ALL!!!

We want to invite everyone out to STC tomorrow for the Back to School Bash from 8:30 to 10:30 am. All 5 schools will be represented as well, and our “Literacy Bus” will be on site.

This detour with new stop conditions will stay in place for the duration of the staged construction of the US 1 Bypass Project with expected completion in the second quarter of 2026

* Clean your vehicle daily
