Job description
We are a locally owned and operated trucking company located in Vancouver, WA. We operate primarily in Washington and Oregon. We are looking for a Class A CDL truck drivers with a minimum of 2 years driving experience. We are a Company that has been in operation since 1997. We offer Late model equipment and are looking for that long term driver that desires a good stable hourly driving job with excellent benefits. Our drivers are responsible for the movement of containerized freight and dry vans in and out of various ports and to and from our customer locations.

Our drivers work Monday-Friday and are home most nights.

There may be a rare overnight with paid Per-Diem required or an occasional weekend day shift.

!!!!No Touch Freight!!!!

Duties:

Drive truck and perform essential functions

Perform daily pre/post trip vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operation.

Keep the vehicle clean inside.

Able to perform minor repairs i.e.: replace burnt out bulbs and such.

Complete daily E-logs and prepare other paperwork as necessary

Pickup and/or deliver loads between the ports and the customers

Must be a team player

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Clean driving record and valid Class A CDL license

Knowledge of E-logs Helpful.

Excellent driving skills

Basic mechanical knowledge and/or troubleshooting skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Must Demonstrate a positive attitude towards both internal and external customers

Self directed with strong time management skills

Ability to push/pull/lift or carry 75 pounds

MUST HAVE CURRENT MEDICAL CARD

TWIC CARD (or ability to obtain one) REQUIRED.

Must provide a copy of MVR (personal and commercial)

Compensation:

Hourly Based on experience with OT after 40 hrs.

Paid per Diem for Overnights.

Paid Medical/ Dental for employee

Paid Time Off (after 90 days)

Paid Sick Leave

401 K with 4% company match After 1 yr.
