Class A CDL Company Driver
Immediate Openings (Load Pay)
Site: Valley, AL

Position: Full Time - Some Weekends (Load Pay) HOME DAILY / 100% NO TOUCH FREIGHT

Brief Description: Drivers are responsible from transporting intermodal containers from port to company yard and/or customer sites.

Some of the Responsibilities/Job Duties are as follows:
Delivering intermodal freight
Managing proof of delivery paperwork from customers and port.
Following all Traffic Laws
Reporting to Dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road
Inspect the truck & trailer before and after the trip, and record any defects found.
Keep the truck clean and in good working order.
Take the required break during trips.
Reporting any mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:
Smart Phone
MINIMUM of 2 years of recent driving experience with a Class A CDL
Must be 23 years of age
Clean MVR Report
Must be able to pass a drug test

What you will do on a typical day:
• Receiving/Put-Away: Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Quality: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
• Order Picking: Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Loading: Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers.
• Equipment: Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment. Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions, as required.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• Inventory: Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.
• Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.

What you should have:
• Previous Clamp lift experience required.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to be at work on time and ready to work daily.

As a Tugger Operator your responsibility is to make sure that all of the dollies are in the right locations at the right times.
We receive the dollies once we send the to the Customer back and we have multiple sections the empties are taken to the correct section and dropped so that the order filler can pull their order.
Once the orders are complete and ready to shipping the Tugger Operator will pick up the Dollies and deliver to the shipping dock to scan if needed and prepare for shipping.
Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Inventory: Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.
