🏴☠️ Heads Up, Tybee Businesses!
Tybee Island Pirate Fest is here! 🎉 As we prepare for a weekend of festivities, several parking areas and streets will be temporarily closed to accommodate event setup, activities, and the parade.
Please review the following closures and transportation information to plan accordingly! 👇
🅿️ PARKING LOT CLOSURES
16th Street Parking Lot:
- Starting, Thursday, October 8: Entire lot (Roundabout to 18th Street)
- Parking lot will reopen on Monday, October 12, after festival grounds are cleared.
🚧 STREET CLOSURES & PARKING RESTRICTIONS
Tybrisa Street: Closed to through traffic October 9–11. Delivery trucks will still be permitted.
No parking beginning at 3 AM on Friday, October 9. Please make sure all vehicles are moved Thursday night!
Additional Street Closures:
The Strand Avenue ends of the following streets will be closed with Jersey barricades:
- Izlar Avenue
- Silver Avenue
- 17th Street
- TS Chu Terrace
- 17th Place
🎉 PIRATE FEST PARADE | SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10 AT 3 PM
Parade Route: 4th Street → Butler Avenue → Tybrisa Street → Strand Avenue and exit @ 17th Street
- 4th Street: Closed for parade lineup and will reopen once the parade begins.
- Butler Avenue: Closed beginning around 2 PM until the parade concludes.
- Tybrisa Street & Strand Avenue: Will remain closed following the parade.
🚌 FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE | ALL WEEKEND
Free shuttle service will be available throughout the weekend, with stops at:
- McKenzie Avenue
- Campground
- North Beach Parking Lot
- Memorial Park
- IGA
📍 Festival Drop-Off: Strand Avenue at Hotel Tybee
