Stout’s is proud to recognize the outstanding accomplishment of Richie Tisone, who has earned the prestigious designation of Master Technician through the MCI Academy.
Richie’s journey in the motorcoach industry began at the age of 15. Since joining Stout’s Transportation in 2011, he has demonstrated exceptional dedication, work ethic, and a commitment to professional growth. Starting with entry-level responsibilities, Richie steadily advanced through the ranks to become one of the organization’s most respected technicians. Today, he oversees the maintenance and performance of a fleet of more than 40 vehicles, including 20 electric vehicles (EVs).
His comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience across multiple motorcoach platforms have made him an invaluable asset to the Stout’s Transportation team.
Most recently, Richie achieved the distinguished title of Master Technician, an honor held by only a select group of technicians in the industry. The MCI Academy Master Technician Program is the only bus and motorcoach technician training program accredited by the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). MCI Academy training programs have won the ASE Grand Excellence in Training award five time in a row for 2017 – 2021. Prior to MCI Academy, no training program has ever won this award two years in a row. Earning this designation requires the successful completion of more than 152 hours of online coursework, as well as 11 weeks of intensive in-person training. Only 3% of the industries’ participants have accomplished this exclusive honor.
In addition to his Master Technician certification, Richie has also earned specialist diplomas in both Electrical Systems and HVAC Systems, further demonstrating his commitment to technical excellence and professional development.
