September trips get underway Tuesday! We will be visiting Spring Creek Nature Trail & Greenway and Nature center! I have a couple of cancellations, so seating is available for Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a morning event, finishing by 11:20am.

A surprise shower didn’t dampen the enjoyment The Menil Collection. We spread out and explored several of the other buildings on campus. And Pit Room BBQ was 3 for 3 on food! Thanks to the seniors of Montgomery County who came along for such a great time! Next week, more museums to stay out of the heat!

What a day! The Menil Collection has many different components. It’s impressive how much green space there is and how they built around the trees. Definitely need more time there. The Pit Room was packed, and the food was delicious. The current exhibit at Contemporary Arts Museum Houston was a conversation starter.

Thank you HOLOCAUST MUSEUM HOUSTON for the well versed docents, the tasty lunches, and the lessons that must not be forgotten. All 4 groups were appreciative and plan to come back and spend more time. The Health Museum really was the perfect place to have some fun after such a heavy day while learning about our insides!
