🔧 NOW HIRING – Mechanic Shop Helper - Fleet Maintenance (Tacoma, WA) 🔧

Veneer Chip Transport (VCT) is looking for a motivated, hands-on team member to join our Tacoma shop. This role supports our maintenance team and is a great fit for someone who likes working with equipment, learning new skills, and being part of a solid crew.

What you need:

✔️ Valid driver’s license (parts cant drive themselves)
✔️ Ability to pass a drug screen (negative is a pass)
✔️ Good attitude and willingness to work

Schedule:

🕖 Tuesday – Saturday
🕞 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
⏱ Overtime available

Our drivers have the biggest hearts... Alot of them pitched in and decided to do something nice for Wade Hooper, our dispatcher out of Tacoma... alot of them chipped in to get him a 2 day Steelhead fishing trip! There was even enough left over that we drew names from those who contributed to see who would go with him on each day. (Video coming next)

We are seeking safe and professional Class A drivers.

**We consider potential drivers directly out of an accredited driving school.**

VCT is looking for a Night Shift Trailer Mechanic in Tacoma, WA.

Compensation: Hourly

Employment type: Full-time

We are seeking a safe and professional mechanic to work our night shift position. The potential candidate will need to be a self starter, highly motivated individual with minimal supervision required, who also must be willing to get CDL within 6 months of hire.
