Dave Evans Transports Inc. is a dynamic growing Bulk Pneumatic Trucking Company looking for two mechanics to join our team. One experienced mechanic and one entry level. Must be motivated and be willing to work on a variety of equipment from semi-trucks, trailers, to other equipment we use around the yard.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

1. Repair work on Trucks and Trailers.

2. Regular maintenance on shop equipment and yard vehicles.

3. Misc. repairs such as service, brakes, tires, lights, etc.

4. Accepts repair orders as assigned by the shop coordinator.

5. Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are needed.

6. Conducts work in a safe manner by wearing the appropriate PPE, and following Company Safety Guidelines.

7. Occasionally on the road for repair of emergency disabled units that are within a few hours from the terminal.

8. Able to lift up to 100 pounds and require you to stand on unlevel surfaces.

9. Accurately document time and work performed on forms provided in a legible manner.

10. Maintains a clean, neat and safe work area and the shop in general.

11. Present a positive, professional image at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

*Applicant must have valid driver license *Must have verifiable history of mechanical experience or training for it *Beneficial to have semi-truck & trailer experience, but not necessary *Must have own tools and tool box to keep onsite - larger specialty tools are provided

The pay is based on experience and will be discussed at time of interview. Starting for low experience $24/Hr. to $40/Hr. for very experienced mechanic not needing any training, verifiable. Full time only.

Dave Evans Transports, Inc is looking for a reliable self-motivated individual to join our team.

Work schedule is Monday thru Friday 8-4:30p. Starting pay is $18.00/hour.

The job duties will include but are not limited to the washing of semi-trucks, trailers, and other vehicles owned by the company. Other tasks that you will be assigned are mowing lawn, shoveling snow, cleaning rest rooms and other areas within the business, loading and unloading of materials shipped and received at our facilities and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Applicants must have physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy objects as much as 125 lbs. and must have the ability to pass a respirator fit test (the ability to breath comfortably through a cartridge style respirator) Must also have valid drivers license.

When the snowbirds are away, our wash techs will play!

We have 7 drivers who take the winters off and head south for the winter! While they're gone it's the perfect time for our wash techs to wash and wax their rigs. Then they are put away until late spring!

We are hiring a general laborer to work Monday - Friday 8a to 4:30p. Duties will include washing trucks, trailers, shoveling, unloading and trans-loading trailers, plus other misc. jobs around our yard. Must be physically fit and able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Starting pay is $16.00/hour with retention bonuses at 30 days, 60 days, and 6 months.

Benefits include PTO after 30 days, health insurance, retirement, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Tonight was our 30th race of the season and man oh man…what a race it was folks! Jack started on the pole and held the lead for 19 laps, got into lap traffic and got taken in corner 2 on the last lap. He said the car felt amazing. Successful night for the team!

We are looking for 1-2 people to help with mowing grass, washing trucks, and some other misc. things this summer. Must be at least 16 years of age. Part time or full time available. Daytime hours only. No evening positions available.

Pay is $16/hour. No experience necessary, but must be willing to show up to work and be ok with getting dirty.
