Our Story

Hours of Operation: Route Service Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 6:00pm Dispatch Office Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 6:00pm *Passengers are encouraged to call as soon as they are aware of the need of transportation services; same day rides are not guaranteed and all rides are subject to availability. Service Areas: We service residents of ALL ages throughout Whiteside County. Trips starting or ending outside of the Sterling/Rock Falls area are routed at set times, please call into our dispatch office for details. *We also travel to the following locations for Medical Appointments Only: Dixon, IL - Monday - Friday , 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 3:30 PM (special rates apply) Clinton, IA - Monday - Thursday , 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (special rates apply) Rockford, IL - 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month , 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (special rates apply) Fares: Riders (aged 60+) = a suggested donation of $1.00, in-county Riders (aged 6-59) = $2.00 one way, in-county Children (aged 0-5) = $0.50 one way, in-county Punch Cards: May be purchased from any WCPT driver or at the Whiteside County Senior Center in Sterling. We offer several different punch cards to meet your needs: $20 Punch Card = 10 rides + 1 free ride $10 Punch Card = 5 rides $10 Child Punch Card = 20 rides + 1 free ride (for our riders 5 years of age & younger) Agency Contracts: Agencies may inquire about service contracts with WCPT by contacting the Transportation Director at (815) 625-7433.
