DISPATCH MANAGER
Qualifications
-Must be at least 21 years of age
-This is a safety sensitive function and
subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing
requirements.
-Required to have or obtain a CDL Class
A or B with air brake and passenger
endorsement.
-Requires a CDL medical
examination/certification every two
years or as specified by physician.
-Must have an acceptable background
check and driving record.
-Must have job related experience and
ability to follow a schedule and
complete reports.
-Must be able to effectively communicate
and follow oral/written instructions that
are provided in English.
Essential Job Duties
-Daily communication and interaction
with vehicle operators and customers to
provide safe and timely instructions and
responses to requests for operational
information throughout the day.
-Provide assistance to operation
supervisor and vehicle operators with
day-to-day operations, such as
overseeing scheduling, service changes,
and assignment of vehicles; performs
other job-related work as required.
-Provide quotes to customers looking to
charter a bus.
-Communicate with members of the
public concerning company
information.
-Provide exceptional customer service to
customers in all interactions.
-Monitor base radio/communication and
respond to vehicle operator issues in
accordance with company policies and
procedures including but not limited to
emergencies, breakdowns, traffic issues
and adverse weather.
-Occasional operation of company
vehicle.
-Understand and comply with company
policies and procedure.
-Following company protocol and
procedures during shift without direct
supervision.
-Proper and timely completion of various
company reports and other required
paperwork.

Responsibilities
-Must be able to be on call seven days a
week.
-Comply with and participate in
established company training
requirements.
-Participation in company training
sessions at times outside of regular shift
when necessary.
-Must be able to maintain regular
attendance in accordance with company
standards.
-Must be able to accurately record hours
of work on time reporting systems.
Functions and Physical Demands
-Ability to physically perform the
essential job functions.
-Must be able to push, pull, grip, bend,
squat, crouch, kneel, stoop, and walk.
-Must be able to assist ambulatory and
non-ambulatory passengers on and off
the vehicle.
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and pull a tie-
down strap with a force of 50 lbs.
-Must be able to push or pull a non-
motorized mobility device weighting up
to 600 lbs. (including passenger) for a
level distance of up to 40 feet, and up
and down 10% incline for up to 6 feet.
