Samuel has served in the Army National Guard for 11 years as a 94F Computer Detection Repair Systems Specialist. He completed deployments to Saudi Arabia in 2023 and Kuwait in 2025. His commitment, discipline, and selfless service reflect the values we are proud to recognize at Quality Carriers.

Quality Carriers is proud to spotlight Bob Coppersmith, Specialist II - Driver Operations at Terminal 160 in South Williamsport, PA, and recognize his nearly 30 years of dedication and service.

Bob’s journey with Quality Carriers began through Chemical Leaman, where he built a strong foundation in the transportation industry before continuing his career with Quality Carriers. During his time with us, Bob has demonstrated his knowledge, experience, and commitment to supporting our operations.

Bob’s Terminal Manager, Brittany Hargrove, shared, “Bob is an outstanding leader whose experience, work ethic, and commitment to both our drivers and our customers make a tremendous impact on our team every day. Quality Carriers is proud to spotlight Michael Waters, a Company Driver from Terminal 160 in Williamsport, PA, and honor his service as a United States Navy veteran.

Michael served as a Radioman and Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class aboard the USS Schofield FFG-3, where he traveled the world while serving our country with dedication and pride. From becoming a Shellback to deployments through Spain, the Persian Gulf, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Panama, his service reflects the commitment, resilience, and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans.

Michael’s Terminal Manager, Brittany Hargrove, shared, “The same work ethic, discipline, and dependability that served Michael in the Navy continues to show every day as part of our team. Quality Carriers is proud to spotlight Shawn McCagh from Terminal 160, whose dedication, leadership, and teamwork make him a true asset to our company.

Shawn’s passion for trucking began with his father, who was also a driver. Growing up, Shawn often rode along on trips and knew early on that he wanted to follow the same path. Before joining Quality Carriers 11 years ago, Shawn hauled flatbeds. As he started his own family, stability, benefits, and long-term opportunities became priorities, which led him to Quality Carriers.

Since then, Shawn has built a rewarding career. He has provided for his family, purchased a home, and continued to grow both personally and professionally. He values the strong relationships he has built at Quality Carriers with fellow drivers and the Operations team.

His Terminal Manager, Brittany Hargrove, shares:

“Shawn has been a huge asset to our team. He brings a positive attitude and strong communication skills, and consistently delivers great service to every customer. He played a key role in our Train the Trainer program, helping refine processes for pump off loads with air assist, and he is always willing to assist drivers across terminals.
