In the late 1940s, Kansas City had 86 clothes manufacturing companies; most were located in the downtown “Garment District”. One of those companies was Kansas City Custom Garment located at 301 W 10th Steet where the owner of Direct Messenger Service Raymond St.Aubyn worked in the early ’70s and learned how to cut garments. The custom garment cutter tables were lined up in order of skill and tenure. Much like the orchestral 1st violin, 2nd violin, and so on. A tradition of fine tailoring that is hard to find in this day and age of mass production. Like Kansas City Custom Garment, Direct Messenger Service is a locally owned business serving you with a customized fit for your company’s delivery needs.
