Scout service update 🚗 We’re continuously working on ways to improve the Scout system, including learning from real trip data. Using that information over the past three months, the service model was refined to better match demand by time of day and location, helping improve overall efficiency.

Since rolling out these updates, ridership has increased by 16% and average wait times have dropped by more than 15%. We appreciate the community’s continued support as we roll out these updates.

We’re not stopping there — additional updates are underway to continue improving service in the coming weeks.

Specific feedback helps us identify issues and make meaningful changes. Please contact us at www.scoutseminolefl.com/contact, [email protected] or call 407-665-RIDE (7433), and include the name and phone number associated with your Scout account, along with the date and time of the ride.

Scout has helped more than 70,000 passengers get to where they need to go since launching October 15, and it wouldn’t be possible without our drivers!

🚨 Important App Updates Coming to Scout! 🚐

To help keep trips reliable and vehicles available as demand continues to grow, several updates are included in Scout’s next app release:

• Riders will be limited to two ride cancellations per day in the app
• After two cancellations, rides can still be booked by phone at 407-665-RIDE

The app shows when your vehicle is approaching, and drivers can message riders directly through the app. Please keep an eye on your app and be ready when Scout arrives. Vehicles will wait a limited, reasonable time at pickup locations before continuing to the next scheduled stop.

With more than 900 passenger trips in a single day last week—along with a similar number of canceled ride requests—these updates will help keep the system running smoothly for everyone.

Thank you for helping keep Scout moving!

Not sure which Scout zone you’re in? 💭

You can now use a new interactive layer on Seminole County’s Information Kiosk to search your address and view Scout service zones. Just select “Scout Service Zones” from the menu on the right.

Since Scout fares are zone-based, checking the map before you book can help you estimate your fare and plan your trip.

A quick tip for Scout riders ⏱️ Want to help keep wait times moving smoothly? Repeated cancellations can impact the system and your fellow riders.

On Tuesday alone, Scout experienced 800+ cancellations. When a ride is canceled and rebooked, it places that rider in the back of the line and requires the system to reconfigure trips for other users.

Fewer cancellations = better wait times for everyone 👍

Before you book, check estimated pickup times using Scout’s Wait Time Planner. Enter your pickup location and destination to see your expected wait time and average wait times by hour. Peak times may have longer waits, which is why checking the planner is especially helpful.

Scout is closely monitoring the system and data to find ways to improve service and will continue working to better the rider experience for our community.
