I have got to brag a little this afternoon. We have been in the trucking business for 7 years, and have seen our share of the good and the bad out on the highway. A lot more bad, seems like, when it comes to trucks breaking down. It being Labor Day, would usually only make any help you find even more expensive. That being said, we have a truck down, sitting on the side of the interstate in Utah today. John knows how to do a “temporary repair” , that would enable the driver to get the truck to a repair shop, but, the truck is atleast 30 miles from anything. The driver is going to need some tools, parts, and oil to be able to do the temporary fix, but, had no way of getting to any store to get the supplies. John called Auto Zone in Roosevelt, Utah, and spoke to Mandy, who was probably one of the most helpful people we have encountered. She was able to locate everything John requested, with the exception of 1 item, that they didn’t have in stock, and said that she would be able to deliver all of the items to the driver, who is atleast 30 miles from her. She also gave him information on where to call to find the other item he needed, and told him she would be glad to go by and pick it up to take to the driver. John then called the other place, that had the other item, which was Stewart’s Ace Hardware in Roosevelt, Utah. In no time, they had the item located, and had to put John on hold before he could give them the credit card info to pay for it. When they came back on the line, Velda (the associates name that helped John) said there was no charge for it, someone else had paid for it for him. As a business, we have never encountered such kindness out on the road like this. Not by just once, but twice! Thank you guys, so much! Y’all are the Best!!
