Crossing over PSL Blvd. 🚕
Veterans to Westmoreland to drop off at Bogies and Stogies 🧍‍♂️
The guy in the truck turning on the Blvd was kinda talking to my passenger.
We bust out laughing because it was so random and funny
Drop off and go to McDonalds and the guy is in the drive thru lane and he had fallen asleep 😴
Passenger just texted me that he's getting arrested. 🚨 😕

Yesterday I was with Mr. N. for 5 hrs. Then he calls me up at 11:30 p.m. to find out if I knew where his Dr's papers were. Of course I did. It was in the grocery bag that he was carrying all his belongings in. He couldn't find it wanted me to come over today.

Today... "Mr. N. did you take out any garbage since I last saw you?"
"The nurse did."

Yep I took his cane and fished the garbage out of the dumpster.
Sorted and sanitized and washed everything.
What was thrown out?
Dr's papers, Rx reading 👓, 🕶, diabetes tester.

Never a dull moment.

We are absolutely heartbroken. Peggy Steele was part of our family not just taxi family but my family. Her and mom became friends and she became Aunt Peg to me and Abuelita to my . She has been with us through all our ups and downs these last years. She drove the taxi for a little while and my customers loved her.

It's not real that she is gone. My condolences goes out to her friends and family. The world is a lot dimmer without her laugh.

Last week Arlene Yaeger, a customer who hadn't travelled in a long time, passed away. We used to transport her to Walmart where she worked at. We transport her son ( ) and for the longest didn't know that they were related. She had had a stroke and was living in a nursing home. Condolences go out to her family & friends.
