To be clear:
The term defunding is indeed misleading, reallocation of funding is far more realistic. Improved education
Improved housing
Improved infrastructure
Improved recreation
Improved libraries
All of these would assist in the reduction of systematic racism and the poor overcrowded urban areas. These improvements would proactively help in reducing the unjust conditions which contribute to criminal activity.
