Meet one of HWH’s 2025 summer interns, Chase Lamb!

Chase is currently attending The University of Oklahoma, where he’s majoring in Accounting. This summer, he’s interning in the Accounting department at We Pack Logistics, HWH’s sister company, where he’s gaining valuable insight into how different departments and systems work together to support the company’s daily operations.

Chase chose a career in accounting because he’s naturally strong in math, enjoys working with computer programs, and is highly organized. He believes these strengths are a great fit for the field and provide a solid foundation for reaching his long-term goal of becoming a CFO or CEO.

Since joining We Pack, Chase has enjoyed learning about the various moving parts that come together behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly across HWH’s companies. This big-picture perspective has helped him better understand how accounting supports larger business functions.

After graduation, Chase plans to earn his master’s degree and become a CPA. He then hopes to work his way into a big firm and, one day, step into a CFO or CEO role.

Fun fact: Chase loves spending time working out and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

His favorite quote: “Success is never owned, it is rented, and the rent is due every day.”

This week, our North Carolina team was recognized with the Manufacturing Excellence award in Continuous Improvement Leadership at the annual conference hosted by the North Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NCMEP) in Winston-Salem. Over the last eighteen months, through a unique partnership between We Pack, Richmond Community College and the state of North Carolina (enabled by the NC Edge program), We Pack has delivered leadership and continuous improvement training to our team in the region allowing us to develop our organization to better serve our customers for years to come. We are proud of the efforts of our North Carolina's leaders to dedicate the time and resources to build our team for the future and appreciate the acknowledgement of these efforts by the NCMEP group.
