Univista Trans LLC Truck Dispatch Company

This week we tracked performance across the fleet.

Not impressions.
Not “busy dispatch”.
Real numbers.

Top 5 trucks:

#6960 — $18,050
#8136 — $13,450
#3301 — $12,600
#2516 — $12,250
#6339 — $11,410

Same week.
Same market.

But very different results.

And that’s the part most people don’t understand.

Because most fleets believe:
“If we add more trucks — we’ll make more money.”

But that’s not how it works.

If your system is weak,
more trucks just multiply your problems.

What actually creates results:

• lane selection
• timing
• RPM control
• minimizing dead miles
• weekly planning

The top truck this week didn’t get lucky.

It was planned.

Every move was intentional.
Every mile had a purpose.

While other trucks:

sat longer
ran weaker lanes
or moved without strategy

That’s where the gap happens.

Not in the market.

In the decisions.

If you’re not tracking:

gross per truck
RPM
performance weekly

you’re not optimizing.

You’re guessing.

And guessing is expensive in this business.

We track every truck every week.

That’s how we know what’s working —
and what needs to be fixed immediately.

Most fleets never see these numbers
because they don’t have visibility.

A lot of people think dispatching is simple.

Open the load board.
Call a broker.
Book a load.

Truck moves. Job done.

But real dispatching is much more than that.

Professional dispatchers don’t just look for loads.
They manage risk, timing, and profitability for the truck.

Before booking a load, a good dispatcher is already thinking about:

• broker reputation and payment history
• real miles vs dispatched miles
• driver HOS and available hours
• delivery time and appointment risks
• the next market after delivery

Because one wrong load can create a chain reaction.

The driver misses the next pickup.
The truck sits for half a day.
The next load pays less.
The week’s revenue drops.

And suddenly the truck that should have made
$7,000 this week ends up making $4,500.

That’s the difference between booking loads and running a truck like a business.

Strong fleets understand this.

They don’t measure dispatchers by how many calls they make.
They measure them by weekly revenue, empty miles, and consistency.

Dispatching is not about being busy.

It’s about making the right decision before the truck moves.

Because in trucking, the best dispatchers don’t just move trucks.

They protect the fleet’s profit.

Most fleet owners think safety is only about avoiding accidents.

But in reality, safety affects far more than that.

Your safety profile influences:

• which brokers will work with you
• how often you get rejected on loads
• how much paperwork you must provide
• how long brokers take to approve your carrier

A fleet can have perfect trucks and good drivers,
but one of these can still damage the profile:

• repeated roadside inspections
• HOS violations
• unsafe driving reports
• old violations that were never improved with new inspections

And the worst part?

Many owners don’t even check their safety score until a broker rejects them.

That’s when they hear:
“Your company has safety concerns.”

Strong fleets monitor their safety the same way they monitor revenue.

They track:
• inspection history
• violation trends
• safety percentiles over time

Because safety is not only about compliance.

It’s about reputation in the freight market.

Brokers trust carriers who look stable, clean, and predictable.

And in trucking —
trust moves freight.

Most fleets believe that the solution to growth is simple:
more trucks, more loads, more miles.

But the truth in trucking is very different.

Many fleets grow in size long before they learn how to grow in control.

More trucks often mean:
• more fuel
• more repairs
• more driver payments
• more insurance costs
• more stress

But not always more profit.

And this is where most fleets start losing money without even realizing it.

Because activity in trucking can easily create the illusion of success.

Trucks are moving.
Dispatchers are busy.
Phones are ringing all day.
Loads are booked constantly.

From the outside it looks like the business is growing.

But when you actually sit down and look at the numbers, the picture is often very different.

Many owners cannot answer simple questions like:

• How much profit does each truck actually generate?
• Which dispatcher is performing better?
• Which loads bring real margin and which only cover costs?
• Where exactly the money disappears every week?

Without clear numbers, decisions become guesses.

And guessing is one of the most expensive habits in trucking.

Experienced fleets understand something very important:

Visibility is more valuable than experience.

When numbers are tracked every week, problems appear early.

Fuel spikes become visible.
Low-margin lanes become obvious.
Dispatcher performance becomes measurable.
Unprofitable trucks stand out immediately.

That’s when owners can actually make decisions that protect the business.

The fleets that survive long-term are rarely the busiest fleets.

They are the fleets that understand their numbers better than everyone else.

Systems create stability.

Tracking creates control.

And control is what turns a chaotic trucking operation into a real business.

If you want the weekly fleet tracking spreadsheet many fleets use to keep their numbers organized, send the word CONTROL.

A truck grossed $9,000 this week.

Looks good, right?

Now subtract:
– fuel
– driver pay
– insurance
– trailer
– dispatch fee
– factoring
– tolls
– maintenance reserve

What’s left?

Most owners don’t actually know.

They look at gross.
They feel relief.
They assume they’re growing.

But growth without margins is slow collapse.

The dangerous part?

You can run like this for months.
Even years.
Until one bad week wipes your cash flow.

Strong fleets don’t celebrate gross.
They measure net per truck.
Weekly.
Without excuses.

Because profit is not what you make.
It’s what stays.

If you want the spreadsheet that shows you the real number —
DM “CONTROL”.

Pay less = earn less
A small essay about the dishonest market strategies

If there is a paid service - someone will do that for free. Of course, it's tempting to get what you want at a low price. But you can't expect quality for such a price❌.

Low-priced companies often employ inexperienced workers to save some money on salaries. Of course, people need to start their career somewhere, but they shouldn't be underpaid! Money is a great motivation tool. When you don't earn enough - your productivity suffers📉. And so does the quality of your work. It means that when you pay for such services you don't just hurt your company's growth, but also support cheap labour practices.

So, next time you want to work with such companies - think twice! You may just as well throw your money out of your window. And even that will generate more content then the services of low-priced company.

And what do you think about such companies? Have you ever worked with them? Share your opinion with us!

The importance of information

Information is an interesting thing. We need it to work properly, but when there is too much of it - work suffers. So, how do we achieve that perfect ground? Well, it's relatively easy.👇

First, we take into account the specifics of the information. We do not need to tell your driver about every minor detail. We think about his work and about the things he really needs to know. Without this limit, your driver will be unnecessary bothered all the time.

Another important thing is communication. Every team member has some unique info, and everyone needs to know it. Our dispatchers ,for example, may easily look up the info about the road works. And they will do their best to relay this info to those who need it.

And that's it! We do our job well, and everyone is happy! Do you want to enjoy the benefits of a professional dispatch team? We would be happy to work with you! DM us, and we will answer all your questions😉!

So, why do we claim that our dispatchers are experienced? Well, because they are😉! They've all spent at least several years working in this industry. You will find no rookies here!

Should we even tell you how important it is to hire such veteran dispatchers? Do not waste your time on working with other dispatcher companies. Choose us and enjoy your newly-found prosperity📈!

We have 3 primary values. They are:⬇️

1.Professionalism💪
We do not tolerate relaxed approach to work. We are pros, and so are our workers. Each of them has been in the industry for years, and they know what they are doing. Everything is done according to rules, and there is no place for mistakes. But it doesn't mean that we are all robots here. We are strict only when it's needed. Our dispatchers are great people and they know when they should focus on their work and when they should relax a bit.

2. Responsibility💪
When mistakes happen - we blame no one but ourselves. Even if someone else is at fault - it is our job to fix the situation. Even the superman sometimes fails. No one is safe from mistakes. But only professionals admit them. Do not think that we are constantly failing and are proudly talking about it. Such things happen rarely. But when they do - we deal with them.

3. Cooperation💪
Team work is the best kind of work. We cooperate with you and you cooperate with us. Together we are stronger. Our dispatchers also use this approach. At any time, they can depend on their colleagues to help them with something. Our company is a huge family, where everyone supports each other. That makes us strong. And our partners are part of our family. And that means that they become stronger too!

Do you want your company to grow? Do you want to enjoy the benefits of a professional dispatch service? DM us, and reap the benefits of our cooperation!
