The F150 Lightning Doesn't Have Fog Lights. We're Going To Add Them (Part 1)
Growing up in the UK, Nikki is no stranger to the need for decent fog lights to help her see — and be seen — on the road in heavy fog.

And while her F-150 Lightning didn’t come with fog lights from the factory, she’s been cooking up a way to add them. But rather than installing extra switches or aftermarket controls, she’s aiming for a solution that feels as close to OEM as possible.

Today, in Part 1 of what we hope will be a multi-part series, she installs the physical switch and tries to get the dashboard tell-tale working properly.

EV Batteries Have Been For Their Annual Checkup - And The Signs Are GOOD!
It's a common misconception — and, in many cases among those who want to see EVs fail, an intentional falsehood — that EV battery packs require expensive replacements every few years, can't be recycled, and simply don't last long.

As we've noted many times on this channel, most EV battery packs outlive the vehicles they're installed in. Now, a new study from the UK confirms that battery health is far better than even some industry insiders have suggested.

Today, Kate breaks down the latest findings from Generational, explains what they mean, and explores what could change as both customers and dealerships come to realize that EVs have a lot more to give — for a lot longer than their warranties might suggest.

We Try To Practice What We Preach — So We’re Saying Goodbye (To This ISP)
We’ve re-written this introduction a few dozen times.

We tried to make it about the EV world — about how one company’s success didn’t just kick-start a global EV sales race, but also made the world’s wealthiest man.

We tried to explain how, enriched by those successes, that same man has used his wealth to cajole and influence politicians and policy. How he has amplified conspiracy theories, spread misinformation, and helped usher in a U.S. administration that is, frankly, fascistic in its treatment of minorities, citizens, and other countries alike.

But we’ve failed to make that work.

So instead, let’s focus on the meat of the matter.

For the last few years, we — reluctantly — have relied on Starlink, alongside a local independent ISP, to provide the internet Transport Evolved needs to produce and upload videos.

Our initial decision to use Starlink came from a lack of adequate speed from our local provider. But thanks to improvements at that ISP — and some recent news regarding that same billionaire — we’ve decided we have to act unilaterally.

Here’s why — and what’s next.

Late Last Year, We Test Drove The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV Trail Boss... So You Don't Have To
Usually, when we test drive a vehicle on this channel, the team walks away with a range of opinions — about how it drives, what it does well (and badly), and where it fits in the broader EV marketplace.

And we work hard to set aside our personal biases. Especially when it comes to oversized SUVs, massive pickup trucks, or eye-wateringly expensive models we’d never buy ourselves.
That’s our job.

A year ago, we test-drove the Chevrolet Silverado EV RST, which at the time was the most expensive version of Chevrolet’s all-electric truck. It was big. It was powerful. It was expensive.

And while we respected what it was trying to do, we admitted we actually preferred the more practical — and far more affordable — Work Truck variant.

Later, when we were in Los Angeles for the launch of the Chevrolet Bolt EV, several members of Chevrolet’s press team told us we’d probably enjoy driving the Trail Boss more. It had replaced the RST at the top of the Silverado EV lineup, and it promised something a little different: a suspension lift, beefier tires, and a dedicated off-road mode.

On paper, it sounded interesting, if not exactly our usual cup of tea. We were interested to give it a go.

But after just one week behind the wheel, our usual spectrum of opinions — the debates, the disagreements, the “yes, but” conversations — vanished. For the first time in a long while, we all agreed that this is terrible and, by a long way, our least favorite EV of 2025.
