Best Wishes Non-emergency Medical Transportation is an Oakland County, Michigan based company with wheelchair accessible vans that serves several counties in Michigan. We specialize in safely transporting wheelchair bound passengers and those with special needs. We take pride in being on-time and strive to be on-schedule, everyday. All of our drivers go through a pre-employment criminal background

check using Michigan State Police's (ICHAT) Internet Criminal History Access Tool. Once hired, our Drivers are trained, certified, uniformed and will always wear a picture ID Badge. Getting you to your destination on-time is also very important to us. That's why our Drivers live in or near the communities they serve. They know the local area and are familiar with current road conditions. If needed, they are able to rely on GPS and use (Real-Time) Traffic Apps to avoid the heavier traffic areas, ensuring our passengers arrive at their appointment safely and on-time. Our Drivers are all very friendly, compassionate and professional. They have experience transporting people in wheelchairs and helping those with physical needs. Our Drivers are respectful and responsible and clearly enjoy helping others. All of our handicap accessible vans comply with the Michigan Department of Transportation's regulatory requirements and are authorized to transport wheelchair bound and ambulatory passengers in the state of Michigan as defined in Public Act 271 of 1990.  We take pride in all of our wheelchair vans; they are rust and corrosion free, always clean, and clearly marked with our company’s logo. Each of our wheelchair accessible vans is inspected annually by the state of Michigan and undergoes monthly maintenance checks. Our wheelchair vans are ADA wheelchair compliant, fully equipped with Sure-Lok or Q-Straint wheelchair restraint systems as well as emergency and safety readiness tools.
