.. Winter Weather Advisory now in effect for Monmouth until midnight CST tonight...

* what... freezing rain and sleet expected to melt initially on pavement then potentially freeze creating icy roads, including during the evening commute. Total sleet accumulations under a half inch and ice accumulations under a tenth of an inch are expected.

* Where... portions of eastern Iowa, western Illinois, and northeastern Missouri.

* When... noon today to midnight.

* Additional details... be prepared for icy roads and sidewalks and reduced visibilities at times. Additionally, northwest winds will gust up to 35 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. For the latest Road conditions in your area, contact your local or state Department of Transportation.

Sorry for the inconvenience this afternoon with our vehicle being down. We have fixed the problem and we are back up and running. We have been informed that the roads out of town are becoming a little slick. Please be patient with us as we are trying to be as safe as possible! Thank you and have a blessed day!!!
