There were two full meetings in my region today.
The first was with the South Central Regional Council of Governments. A good conversation about the many things that are being worked on in our towns and completed. The big transportation construction jobs may feel like a little bit of pain, but it is for long-term gain.
The second meeting was an outdoor meeting with Lower Connecticut River Council of Governments. The Watrous Park in Cromwell is beautiful this time of year. A perfect backdrop.
I always take away new information to learn from and pass on. Thank you to our caring leaders who show up to the meetings and vote.

This am at the Hamden Rehab & Healthcare Center. There are many benefits to joining the New Haven Senior Networking Group. An important one that helps me succeed at my job as a mobility manager is the networking with others who support seniors. It allows attendees to pass on our contact information to their patients. Transportation is an important skill that we all need to know. It provides the opportunity for our seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities connection to transportation

We appreciate the opportunity to speak to the seniors at the E. Hampton Senior Center. I enjoyed getting to meet the director, Holly Marrero.
The seniors knew about some of the options and transportation in their area, but we were able to introduce some transportation programs that would support them in other ways. Thank you for your participation.
