It is so hard to tell you all this, but we will be closed permanently as of Wednesday, February 21st, 2024. After 26 years, we just couldn't continue any further. Major factors have been Uber, Covid, and our government help (ERC) that never came through. We will always remember our faithful customers, drivers, and staff. I will say that what kept us open the last few years has been not wanting to disappoint our drivers and riders. But we just can't sustain any longer. I am 70 now... perhaps the Good Lord is telling me it's time to retire?

PSL Drivers needed for Taxi/Livery Company

We have a great number of people who rely on our service to get them to their medical appointments and clients who need transportation to their jobs as well as occasional trips to local markets.
We are calling upon friendly and self-motivated individuals to help us serve our clients.

Requirements:
• Valid PSL (DMV issued Passenger Endorsement) or willing to apply for one.
• Android device with an unlimitted data plan
• Good moral character
• Customer service experience
• Physical ability to load/unload groceries, luggage, mobility devices etc.
• Knowledge of our service area preferred (defined at mytaxicoupon.com/services-pricing.html)
• Reliable transportation to our Cromwell base where our cars are parked when off duty
• Ability to work safely, pleasantly, and independently and as a member of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

COVID-19 considerations:
To keep our drivers and our community safe, vehicles are sanitized and we require masks to be worn by drivers and clients during transport as mandated by executive order.

This Memorial Day, Middletown honors African American Soldiers and we would like to highlight Hank Bolden

Hank Bolden is an 83-year-old undergraduate at the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut. He is also an atomic vet — one of thousands of soldiers exposed to secret nuclear weapons tests during the Cold War.

Bolden is one of only a few African-Americans still here to tell the story.

Hank Bolden is one of thousands of U.S. soldiers exposed to secret nuclear weapons tests in the 1950s. He's now using compensation money from the federal government to focus on his first love: music.
