🚨 IMPORTANT PARENT BUS STOP REMINDER 🚨

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Please remember that a parent, guardian, or designated responsible adult must be present and visible at the bus stop when your child’s bus arrives.

For the safety of our students, bus drivers will not release a child if an adult is not present and visible. The student will be returned to the school, and the parent/guardian will be responsible for picking up the student.

Please be aware that this is a required safety procedure and must be followed consistently.
If a student is returned to school three times because a parent/guardian was not present at the bus stop, the student may be removed from bus transportation services.

We understand that schedules can be busy, and we appreciate your partnership in making sure your child is safely received each day. Please plan to arrive at the bus stop a few minutes early and remain visible until your child has been released.

Thank you for your cooperation, understanding, and continued support of our transportation team. Together, we can keep our students safe!

🚌 Safety Is Not Optional. It’s Our Standard.

Today, our Transportation Department welcomed our State School Bus Safety Officers for school bus inspections.

We take these inspections seriously because they are more than a requirement—they are an opportunity to make sure our fleet, equipment, and operations meet the standards our students, parents, and community expect from us.

I want to recognize our drivers, mechanics, and transportation staff for the preparation and attention to detail that went into getting our buses inspection-ready.

As a department, we will continue to hold ourselves accountable, maintain high standards, and stay prepared—not just when inspections are scheduled, but every day.

One department. One standard. One purpose: Student Safety.
