We have so much going on right now between previous vet vists, to normal daily care to transport for new rescues. WE NEED YOU!
We need SPONSORS! Rescue isn't just about pulling a horse from danger its about standing by them for months & years after. Monthly sponsorship on our existing rescues is what can help when another needs a savior whether it be at risk, owner surrendor, abuse & neglect.
1st, we have a mustang from Ohio coming our way next week, then we have 2 of the 6 North Carolina rescue donkeys coming up here hopefully end of next week or beginning of following week.
Not only with last weeks vet bill on Serenity it took away from our weekly hay funds, which we picked up a load today of small squares, plus we have a load of 30 rounds coming in tomorrow.
The North Carolina Donks this was and exhausting mission I must admit, saving (6) at one time we have never done, they are all now healthy all 4 boys gelded, everyone vaccinated w/boosters, coggins and health certs they are ready to roll to their forever homes 🥰.
One going to our rescue friends at at Sunny Hill Sanctuary, 3 are going to our long time supporter adopter in Missouri and 2 are coming up here to us (being temp forstered by our great friend Lori around the corner) Lots of $'s needed to make all this happen. Can you help us PLEASE? I am so excited for the long ears who would have caught a horrible trip if we hadn't stepped up but again it has been an adventure that is for sure.
We have Blue Line Equine Transport lined up to pick up the mustang in Ohio next week and as soon as we raise enough funds for the lovely long ears in North Carolina hopefully asap they will get picked up as well by them.
May is known as Donkey Awareness - lets get all the donks home.
