We are not on time, every time.

Also, we have very low tolerance for arriving late to an appointment.

To explain,
I can’t remember when it became a huge deal to me to be on time for any given appointment. But for sure by the time I founded Hursh Transport LLC in 2014, it was one of my top priorities. 12 years in business and being on time is still our motto. Granted, there are times when circumstances completely out of our control, or our own big mistake, make it impossible to arrive on time. The key is to communicate!
The few times we can’t make our appointment, we let our client know ahead of the appointment time and they graciously work with us as they know this is not normal.

I am a bit too slow to commit most times, but once I commit, the world revolves around that commitment!

Business is hard, but not that complicated.
It seems that if you;

#1. Do what you say you will do

#2. Communicate honestly when you can’t do what you said

Then you are in the top few.

We are not perfect, but we sure try to be!

A few things that help us be on time almost every time.
1. Have realistic expectations.
2. Operate safely and carefully.
3. Have spare equipment ready for “emergencies”
4. Allow at least a little room for error. Quite often that enables us to be a little bit early and exceed expectations.

4. We show up.
5. We communicate.
6. We take good care of cargo while it is on our trailers.

A year in review.
The year 2025 was challenging. In some ways it felt like we didn’t accomplish much besides survive. But looking back over it, it was good. We made some internal changes and started using systems to improve operations. We ended the year strong and are all geared up for a spectacular 2026!

It has been 2 years since we added the pallet hauling division to our company.
It always makes me happy to see loaded trailers parked in a neat row and ready for next day delivery.
We haul for 3 different pallet manufacturers here in our local community and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve my “neighbors” in this capacity. They have been incredible to partner with and we look forward to many more years of working and growing together.
We move close to 30 loads of new pallets every week so I am very proud of my team for making it all happen!

I’ve been washing my own trucks for more than 10 years now. I’ve tried several different soaps.
Out of all the cleaners I tried, none compare to Totally Awesome for cleaning tires. It is very cheap and can be purchased at your local Dollar General. This product seems to open the pores on the rubber and release the dirt. It makes tire shine look more brilliant too. It never hurt the polished aluminum but i always hand wash with a good wash & wax and rinse thoroughly immediately after using this product
Directions;
Apply non-diluted solution directly to dry rubber. Let soak for at least 30 seconds. Pressure wash it off. For optimal results, apply tire shine to seal the pores.
