We listened to your feedback, and now that we have recently added new drivers, we are announcing new hours for late night! Sunday through Thursday we will be open until 12:30 AM, then Friday and Saturday night we will remain open until 2:00 AM! Please call 507-591-3129 for service after 10:00 PM. Thanks!

Southwest Minnesota Taxi is pleased to announce that we've added another full-time driver!

Our weekday hours of operation are now from 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with two taxis operating from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, which is our busiest time of day! At weekends we operate from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Our base fare remains at $7.00 for one adult up to one mile, and $1 extra for additional adults and additional miles. There is a special rate within the downtown district of just a $5 base fare.

We're taking a break from operations for a brief vacation, starting Tuesday September 6th. We should be back in service on Thursday September 15. Thanks in advance for understanding.

Several months ago, we changed our base fare from $5 to $6, for one adult passenger for up to one mile. Additional miles cost $1 more, and additional adults cost $1 more.

Meanwhile our competitor has increased their base fare from $9 to $12. Not surprisingly, they're having trouble keeping clients, and apparently some of their drivers are telling people that Southwest Taxi also charges $12.

This is untrue! Our base fare of $6 is just half that of our competitor.

We use hybrid-electric vehicles to save on gasoline and maintenance and operate a very lean and efficient organization with minimal overhead expenses. We pass this on to you, our valued clients, in the form of economical and environmentally friendly service.
