"Be Patient and Always, Always be kind" (God has a plan for you)
The Bible tells us to love thy neighbor as thy self?
As I write this post be patient ( with me, I'm not perfect, never was or will I be) and kind on the comments you leave.
I lost my Daddy at 2 1/2 years old, (heart attack, at 42 years old) that's when Gods plan started in my life. (I know I am not the first to have that happen)
My Mother always taught me to be kind and share all I had with other people and to put in the work to be the best at anything I done, in life, from being a brother or a friend or a co-worker. Be a friend that every friend wants to have be straight up and honest and try and treat everyone the same no matter what position you hold in life or no matter the situation, do the right thing. My Momma was not perfect but, she knew God and me
Believe it or not I think that the passing of my Daddy was the a biggest blessing in my life? You think your crazy that's awful Chris , well at that point in my life God took complete control of my life.
I lost a lot of family over the years being the youngest of 4 kids. I saw more in life as for death in my family than most (age 15). Aunts, Uncles and my Grandparents died before I was born.
I was blessed with nephew that 10 years younger than me and he and I were friends. I lost a brother very young in life my best friend actually.
I was able to attend college and it took many years to get a degree, but I made it. That was the do not quit attitude, that my Momma put, in me when I was a young boy. She always taught us that God had a plan for everyone, but that we as humans did not always recognize that as young people.
She also taught us that the bad things that happen in your life are never to define who you are, nor are you to allow your mistakes to define who you grow up to be. Most of all never give up or quit.
She always encouraged us to live life on our terms and not to let anyone tell us what our dreams were or let someone else define our life other than God and ourselves, we were to have personal relationship with him, so that he would lead guide and direct our paths.
I am very thankful to Her and God for their teaching and I am most thankful for the lessons they both taught me when I had done wrong. ( hickory switch and chastisement)
I was also taught that if you kept your eyes on God and surrounded yourself with good people good things would happen in your life. Very True!!!! (Guard against faults Teachers.)
I have lived in this world for 53 years, I have figured out that everyone is not your friend no matter how much of true friend you are to them, but its my blessing to possess the ability to be a true friend to anyone that calls me friend, even all the me people, because, somebody out of the love of God needs to look out for them, they are spiritually challenged by their own doing, they have a gift to give other that we all possess, inside, and that's the ability to be a true friend to everyone.
I had goals in life that I have delayed because I thought I knew better than my Momma and God, trust me you, nor I either one have a clue when it comes to being an obedient child to God, because we are human beings, sometimes we think we know and well we do not.
I want to move along here and talk about blessings and fulfilling dreams and goals in life.
1) I always dreamed of being Daddy, because mine left me (not by choice) and I never had one growing up. (very very tough for a young boy)
I have 3 children (always a blessing no matter how much they stress me out, I love them all the same no matter)
2.) I always wanted to be a husband because Momma did not have one after my Daddy died( I remember her sadness and tears for so many years after his passing, she was in love with him til the day she died, they had an amazing story, a story for the ages)
Lori G, I love you and thank you for being apart of this, you were God's plan for me, no dought
3.) I always wanted a Corvette, I finally bought one, (the world cant take that from me, I owned one)
4.) I always wanted work for the Tennessee Valley Authority, In Muscle Shoals Alabama, because my Daddy did, I started at Central Shipping & Receiving January, 3rd 2024 @ TVA in Muscle Shoals, AL . (they may fire me on Monday, but I made it and no one can take that from me.)
5.) When I'm done at TVA, all I want to be know as is 'Paw" to my 2 grandsons, William Christopher Fisher III (Trey) and (Big Al) Walker Alan Green.
6) I want to be known as a true friend to many.
Thanks to God and all ones I have met along the way, you were a vey big part of my life, and I hope to add more as life goes on.
