Hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day.
62 birds are out in the nests today. The nesting areas today are the Old Style Inn , in front of the Pharos tribune parking lot , U-Know Pizza , The Record Farm/Bonus Pints, Schwering Realty, Boardwalk Cafe , Veterans memorial “ a great place to visit and pay respects today” , and the swinging girl statue at PNC bank. Be sure to stop in and check out all of these businesses and show support for them allowing us to nest in front of their businesses. You will find some great food and drinks 🙂 everyone enjoy and be safe in this heat .

30 scooters parked on the corners of fifth and broadway out of the way for tomorrow’s parade. If you’re out looking for them they are all nested in this area. We will bring over another 30 after the parade. 🙂 thank you all

Just placed another 30 fresh scoots uptown , should be about 55 total up there tonight. There is a Memorial Day parade tomorrow morning so please be mindful and don’t park scooters around the logansport city building , the cass county government building , or the 6th street bridge. We will be uptown again later moving any remaining scooters off of broadway and any other areas that may hinder parade routes tomorrow and we will place them on the corner/side streets for everyone to have access to tomorrow. We have 75 scooters placed and ready for holiday weekend. Everyone enjoy your weekend and please be safe. A couple things to keep in mind while enjoying the birds.

1. Please don’t park on private property , blocking drives , in parking lots or on the roads. When scooters are placed in these areas and they get reported we must take a break from doing repairs and preparing more scooters for release which delays the scooters from being out and available. Please park them on the sidewalks with enough room in front for car doors to open and enough room behind for walking and for wheelchairs.

2. Please be careful on the roads and at night. Be safe and abide by the traffic laws and give cars the right away to avoid any accidents. And watch out for rough terrain at night. I know from first hand experience last night that there may be a big hole in your path that you can’t see in the dark and it hurts when you hit them, ask my knees.

3. Enjoy the weekend. Have lots of fun. Be responsible.

And most importantly be thankful for all those who have sacrificed it all so that we may enjoy our freedoms. AMERICA 🇺🇸

30 fresh scoots have been deployed in the downtown area for this evening. Thank you all a ton, the community support from individuals and almost all of the businesses up town has been phenomenal. Things have went great in the first week with very few incidents or vandalism. We do want to remind people to follow traffic laws, and respect private property and please don’t ride on public property or park on private property including parking lots or blocking driveways. Tuesday and Wednesday there will only be a limited amount of scooters in town as we want to spend those two days doing inspections , and necessary repairs on the fleet so we have them all ready for you all on the weekend. Thank you all again.

Thank you logansport for all the support yesterday. Was a huge success and the scooters were ridden all day and night and batteries dead by 11. We got more scooters deployed last night and more on the charger now. Thank you all for the courtesy of leaving the scooters in the downtown area when you were finished so they were accessible to the next rider. So far things are going smooth and it appears most everything was respected and taken care of. We are excited to see everyone enjoying them. There will be hiccups along the way and we will work through them. If you ride a scooter and notice it’s damaged somewhere or it’s acting up you can log that in your comments when you end ride so I’m aware of what needs fixed. Thank you all once again.

40 scooters will be deployed in the morning into these areas. This will be kind of a soft deployment just to make sure everything goes well before deploying the other 40. These can be ridden all over logansport with a few areas that are mapped off on GPS along the river walks and parks.
