Repair Shop looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Accountant’s responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures. Responsibilities • Reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Sub-Ledger to General Ledger • Post monthly payroll reports provided by Third Party Payroll Provider • Book asset additions and dispositions, and monthly depreciation • Prepare month-end and year-end close process • Assist the CEO in the monthly analysis reports • Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule Monthly inventory reconciling. Excellence in working with excel. Communications with customers and vendors A/R and A/P auditing Experience in keeping track of shop parts and detailed knowledge of part numbers and local taxation laws. Requirements • 2 years of experience as a Senior Accountant (shop industry preferred) • Experience with Fullbay preferred • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Awareness of business trends • Familiarity with financial accounting statements • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant

Essential Job functions:

Will include, but are not limited to the following:

Invoicing & Billing Knowledge

Preparing Excel files
Reconcile file discrepancies
Work with customers to resolve discrepancies
Scanning BOL's and POD's
Preparing monthly consolidated billing
Creating invoices

Maintain and complete uploading invoices in customer portals
Verifying receipt of invoices and troubleshooting items rejected by portals.
Account Reconciliation
