DJ Transit, Inc - Laurel, Mississippi 15 YEARS OF SERVICE!
October 15, 2026 was a wonderful evening of celebration, appreciation, and fellowship as DJ Transit, Inc. celebrated 15 years of serving Jones and Jasper Counties.

Mr. John Williams, owner of DJ Shuttle in Hattiesburg and Founder of DJ Transit, Inc., served as our special guest speaker and recognized with a gift of gratitude by Deshella Butler, Executive Director on behalf of the DJ Transit Board of Directors. Lucy McInnis was also recognized with a gift for her outstanding role in bringing transportation to Jones County and her 15 Years of dedicated service in Jones County.

The group was honored that Grace Amos, City Council Member and Friend of Transit Award Recipient was there for the evening celebration with staff and guests that gathered at the historic Salem Opera House in Collins, MS, for an evening of delicious food, special recognitions, gifts, and treasured memories.

A special expression of gratitude to the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) Public Transit Division leadership for their continued guidance and support to continue services.

We look forward to many more years of expanding services, and connecting our communities!
