Have you ever considered that we look at difficulty all wrong?

Instead of thinking that difficulty shows separation from our present goal, what if it meant the opposite.

What if the level of difficulty only increases as you get closer to the goal.

I propose with this framework of thinking that we can rejoice in our hardships because we have a God that will see us through.

The smile is not because of the absence of difficulty. The smile is inspite of difficulty I know I win.
